Today, the Energy and Commerce Committee announced a full committee markup on Wednesday, March 8th, at 10:30 a.m. of one of the bills that begins the process of repealing Obamacare and rebuilding our healthcare system. The American Health Care Act, which includes this legislation and a bill to be considered by the Ways and Means Committee, will repeal Obamacare through budget reconciliation, and begin the process of building a more affordable, accessible healthcare system with more choices for Americans and their families.

The Justice Department announced that the corporate owner and agent of Gentle Manor Estates have agreed to pay $130,000 to settle a Justice Department lawsuit alleging familial status discrimination. The settlement must still be approved by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
