Bayh Announces $5 Million to Expand Affordable Housing in North Central Indiana

Community development funding will help create jobs in distressed neighborhoods. Washington, DC - June 29, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — Senator Evan Bayh today announced that North Central Indiana will receive nearly $5 million in grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to expand affordable housing and improve urban communities. The funds are part of more than $44 million in community development grants awarded to Indiana.
