IPLA becomes fourth agency to join online business portal INBiz Real estate licensees will be able to complete transactions online

INDIANAPOLIS (October 23, 2017) – (RealEstateRama) — Since April 2016, INBiz has helped Indiana business owners fulfill many of their requirements with the state. Now, the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) is joining INBiz to allow real estate licensees to complete real estate license transfers and transactions online.

“The Secretary of State’s office has partnered with the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency to expand services to real estate licensees statewide,” said Secretary of State Connie Lawson. “This partnership will add to the growing list of Indiana agencies contributing to INBiz’s one-stop resource.”

In its initial launch, INBiz allowed Hoosiers to access the services of the Secretary of State’s office, which gave them the ability to register their businesses, file important reports and request corporate documents. A few months later, the Department of Revenue and Department of Workforce Development joined INBiz, allowing business owners to execute tax and employee obligations online.

The addition of IPLA allows real estate licensees to complete many of their license status and association changes with ease. Whether users need to transfer or move their license status to referral, assigned, unassigned or inactive, INBiz provides the capability to do so.

“Teaming up with INBiz will allow the real estate licensees of Indiana to have a better experience with their license transfers and transactions,” said IPLA Executive Director Deborah Frye. “INBiz is quickly becoming a one-stop shop for all Hoosier businessmen and women.”

INBiz’s goal is to become a singular source for Indiana businesses to meet their requirements with the state. In just a year, more than 200,000 Hoosiers have registered with INBiz.

In addition to IPLA, INBiz will also be expanding its offerings to consist of unclaimed property, uniform commercial code, notary and trademark services.
